Alhamdulillah. hari ni rs lega. ntah, tak tau kenapa. *wink*
Semalam petang three of us went to watch summer concert (theatre) at school. This was one of three optional slot as to give convinience time for the parents to come and we chose Tuesday evening. The hall was fulled with parents, as too support their kids. Actually, there are 3 similar concerts thruout a year, two others are before Spring holiday and Christmas concert. All the concerts are pupils involvement under supervision of assigned teachers. Well, in a way it is pathway for the kids to show their talents as well as to experience/ build up the teamwork commitment. For us, it's such an advantage and exposure to my kids in term of foreign culture.
On arrival, we saw most of the parents were seated in front of quite big and attractive yet creative stage. There were two big groups pupils on the left and right of the audience seat. We took a second last line, next to a Malaysian-chinese parents whose one of their kids is in the same class with Khairie. And the show began..
To our surprise, suddenly, a loud music aired and we thought it was minus one version.. 'Come as You Are' a song with an ultimate brave drum beaten engulfed the hall. The joy and excitement took place, like wanna stand up and headbang...err just joking, ok:)
The song, originally from Nervana was really energetic intro to the show theatre to live up the hall. Live concert from the boys band.! Fantastic! Soon after that, the theatre titled Hammey Hamlet then began, a kinda History of Ancient Period. layan jer la.

Segment Pirate War. Khairie is at the back in stripy brown t shirt.
To assure the crowd are awake watching, the next song in between the show took place. This time was 'We Will Rock You' by 'Queen'. The theatre and band show involved all Y6 pupils. oh my, they just know how to push the button ! :D.
Of course we didn't miss our boys appearence in Dancing segment(Azraie) and Pirate War Segment( Khairie). So, this show was actually conducted by Y6 assisted by another classes in Key Stage 2 ; Y3,Y4 & Y5 under their teachers supervision. The 1 hour show ended at about 8pm. Good job to everyone.!
When my kids back to our hometown, I hope to see their commitment and effort in teamworking as they did here. I am not going to make a random comparison between these two countries. But deeply inside, I really looking forward to seeing at least they will make it benefit in future.
Till we meet again, see you soon, very very soon. Take care.
