Salam to all.
Cuaca sungguh sejuk sejak semalam. Seumpama winter. Erkk..memang la, still winter pon -:)
Sejak 2 minggu lepas, cuaca begitu baik sehingga suhu mencecah 10C satu2 ketika. Seolah2 spring ingin segera menjelma.
Hurmm..merajuk betul dia. Ini kerana, apabila anak2 dibawa keluar ke muka pintu, mereka tercari2 ibu/bapa yg menunggu berkelompok yg agak besar. Sebaik shj nampak lambaian dari kami, maka cepat si anak memaklumkan pd cikgu;.''Mrs Hitchens, I've seen my mum''. And then off they go to get the parents. Mana yg masih tercari2 tu, terpaksa line up sekejap shingga di ambil. Bila lambat, si kecik saya sgt tak suka..yer lah..kawan2 nya dah balik kenapa dia terpaksa tunggu ? '' So sorry darling, Im late today,'' maka diamlah dia.
Saya terpaksa berbalik kpd sistem mengambil anak dari sekolah spt yg diamalkan di sini. Ianya sangat bermanfaat kerana:
1. Anak2 pasti selamat perjalan pergi d pulang dari sekolah.
3. Waktu berharga tercipta ketika berjalan memimpin anak2 ke sekolah mengeratkan lagi hubungan anak d ibubapa.
Saat2 keemasan ini membuatkan saya terfikir..alangkah indah jika ianya berlarutan sehingga anak2 saya berhijrah ke alam dewasa.
Till we meet again see you soon. very2 soon. take care!

Lend Me Your Hands, Please..
Salam to all
Currently, there was an obvious outbreak when more families packing up their things to go back for good. Week by week, there were emails sent to the community asking for our hands to help them loading the 'imported' goods into the container. Some of them I had never been to their house until the loading day:) It sounds funny, but when the angkat barang day came; all of us are invited and we will be served varieties of food; in return -:)
And the number of people (Malaysian) is reducing drastically. Ironically, the number of intake of Malaysian to Sheffield is none. Within next two years, we can see the increament of rate of the depletion.. No one would ever wanting to look forword to the future of Malaysian community in Sheffield when the community beocomes small and smaller. Malaysian is known as people who embrace the value of corperation, togetherness and caring each other especially when it comes to a big event or celebration or even the sad times.
Now that we have to accept that this country is not belong to us. Our excitement being in oversea is going to the end when the time has come. This place is only a step for us to start to a new life, i hope. To embark to a brand new promising life. I m not so sure if the Malaysian community will vanish away in Sheffield. Hmm..if so, there would be sentimental moments to endure.
Memories in Sheffield will permenantly stay with us, anyway.
All I know is, its great to be home :)
That's all for now..see you soon, very2 soon.

Make it Simple.
Salam to all
Tulip plot under the thick blanket of snow at 1 month after seeding. Bulbs were still hibernating.

Alhamdulillah. Survived very very well. Tulip plot at 2.5months. There are about 20 bulbs underneath this plot.
Tulip in the pot at 2.5months.
A week later.
My brand new baking instrument.
Many times in our life things which occur wasnt in our mind map. Life is known as the most tricky unit that each of us has to brace.
Although mind mapping of our future is essential, life is just unpredictable. I stand d by that and most probably that is the key of my relaxing mood in difficult times.
I also believe that the future is not ours to see, nevertheless; carrying out an ambitious life style consistently is what everyone should do; including me. At the same time, I keep reminding myself to follow the flow as to become the genuine champion at the end of the day. While I taking a step further in my life journey, there are also lots of absorber, shielder, lessons to be learnt, anti-giveup injections which then become priceless enhancer to my next other steps.
Recently, there are few things left me a big smile.
My tulip bulbs which have been installed underground since October is now showing off proudly their shoots. What a great day! Well actually I was in a big question mark when the bad snowfall came about a couple of month ago resulted a thick of snow blanket on the surface of tulip plot for about 3 weeks. thanks god , they survived very well and I m waiting for another big surprises to come.

Tulip in the pot at 2.5months.
A week later. My dream to own a new baking instrument has finally come true. This one has a different value as it is from my own hardwork. I take it as self-reward and promise to my self to give a lil extra care and will make it fully used. Another thanks God.
My brand new baking instrument.Yesterday I made my list of friends grew higher and of course it lets me to expand my scope of knowledge of art in relationship. Obviously she is different from me and others and that makes me looking for more meetings with her. .. another thanks god.
All these things easily erased away the mood swings, a sour smile and a low -less- energetic voice tone of mine. Altho my days also come together with the unwanted feelings, but Allah always be fair to us. All I need to do is to recognise and make a quick notification wisely. Bersyukur is the word, Menghargai pemberiaanNya is the effort to make happening days.
I know that I dont have to wait neither a posh gift from Him nor I dont need to wait for a lavish life style to make my days. Because every moment in life should be carried out in a just simple way.
Till we meet again, see you soon. very2 soon. Take care!

Nasi Kerabu and Her.
Salam to all;
It's their hometime, i dont really usually log in to my blog when the house is full. Anyway, as long as everything is in order, I think nothing can stop my inner self determination to continue posting a few lines to all of you.
Today's topic will be my passion in cooking and all about foody. Ones can simply drive my appetite go hillarious with just simple rules. It should be sour and moderately spicy. I would love to have fish rather than meat or chicken. Seafood would be ok, but not in excess intake. Type of fish I m longing for at the moment is freshwater fish, which absolutely hardly found here. Soup is just tempting but curry or anything with coconut milk doesnt go well with my tummy. But anyway, I always good to any food, let it western or estern or med, I would like to have it.
Serve it at the right time when tummy is crumbling and the food is freshly cooked, nothing can't stop mouth from watering....
Yesterday I managed (with the help of a buddy) to prepare nasi kerabu. My love to nasi kerabu is actually just started since I came to the country which never offer this kinda of food in any single restaurant! In my childhood, I found it was a hard thing to finish this nasi which is covered with salads/herbs, eaten without any soup. How am I gonna to eat dry rice? In addition, it's served with 'budu' which is known has a very strong smell.... The thing that I always confronted to my self when ever I saw people enjoying their nasi kerabu. How they can finish it? Why people luv it?
But it was an oldies memory. Ive been improving my perception to this traditional dish. Furthermore, this is a damn hot famous dish among my friends. And I my self had already tasted quiet a few times of good nasi kerabu. It is actually tasty, delicious and unforgettable food I should had have admiring it long ago.
Nasi Kerabu

Lots of garnishing to go with nasi kerabu.
Together with nasi kerabu, I made a special dessert I havent taste since about 3 years ago. It was ABC or ice kacang (ice carving). Since it is very easy and cheap to get the ingredients, making ice kacang is sooo simple and I really enjoy it from the beginning.
Ais Kacang.
Cooking is not just a daily job to do, but in return it brings me into another world where I can do experimenting, trial and error and please myself to see the finish product/yield at the end. Whether it is what Im looking for or it turns out to be burnt black or uncooked food, it will always give me something. If the food is nice, I surely be very happy. If it is not, I keep dreaming of it on how to adjust the method, the ingredients and anything related.
Doing the cooking job accompanied by a close friend gives me different environment. It was just awesome! Like 'main masak masak' time :)
And finally everything is done and served on the table, we were promptly taken back to the good old days.
.... Long long time ago, whenever my late grandma came home from 'pasar' or 'bandar', there were few things she never forgot. A few types of food such as meehun for me and her other grandchildren and nasi kerabu for her. ....The nasi kerabu was a 'must-buy'.
....For my buddy, the ice kacang had left her in unforgetable memory of her late mother who once was an ice kacang seller.. Just to make sure that there were something to be served on the table to her children...
By the end of this month, it has been 2 years my late grandma left me. I wasnt there and didnt get the last chance to be with her. The memory is forever, and this cooking occasion has kept my thought to her even closer and closer. Only Allah knows how deep my love to her. Al Fatihah.
That's all for now. See you soon, very very soon.

It is almost reaching The End.
Salam to all
Last Friday we had a quite heavy snow fall for the second time. I could say it was flash blizzard snowy day, started at around 7.30am and ended in the evening. The nonstop snow fall then left Sheffield with 10cm thick of snow and drove the traffic ran crazily. Fortunately, the rain came to visit all night long and all we can see the next morning was just a usual morning as if there wasnt any snowfall a day before!
Dear friends; without I knew it, my staying in Sheffield is coming to end soon. (as what written on paper). Suddenly, I realise that somehow I need to consider myself to get prepare before re-entering to the world I had left since. The world of my career. It is a complex discussion thou.., I have been always reminding my self about it. What ever it is, the reality is there so life goes on.
Having experience as fulltime housewife is the most unpredictable thing that ever happened in my life. Honestly, it wasnt what I wanted to be. And also honestly, let me tell you what Im feeling now. It is Great! It is not wrong at all to become someone who look after ur children and the house 24hrs while the other half is out and about!!. Being a fulltime housewife has shifted up my perception regarding this unpaid hardjob. It has totally demolished my sceptical thought of being a fulltime house wife. aahhhh.. typical ''careerwoman''. This honour job needs lots of patience, passion and capability to shift yourself down to the level where the children are in, in order to understand their needs. Most importantly, I have a golden opportunity to grow up along with my children and therefore able to simultanously get what they have always been wanting from their mother. All these while, both of us had been taking for granted by sending them to the nursery and kindergarten from 8-5 without noticing the best guardance purely comes from their parent. Either they are still small children or not, our responsibilty of giving full attention to them is a big compulsary, no compromise.
Now I can say that '' what Allah has given to us might be not the dreams that we r longing for, but it is something that we really need for''.
Anyway, by right, Im going back for good by the end of March. And will need to report duty as soon as I touch the ground. For this life doesnt offer much options, all I will need to do is to continue in my job. Ohh.. what a long hibernate! Hmmm..mcmna yer, dah lama tinggalkan semua tu .. -:)
Just wish me luck!

Cerita Winter: Paip Pecah, Winter Flu & Swine Flu.
Salam to all.
Cerita tahun baru, boxing day, VAT naik ke 20% dah hampir sejuk.
Jika anda salah seorg darinya, adlh amat dinasihatkan utk ke GP memohon suntikan sekiranya tiada offer yg diberikan pd anda sekitar bulan Oktober (penghujung autumn). Itupon, dah mula bersin berterusan sehari dua ni. Hmm..
Sekiranya anda bukan termasuk dlm group tsbt ttp mempunyai history komplikasi semasa demam winter, pun dinasihatkan memohon suntikan ini. Suami saya seorg yg sihat tetapi beliau pernak admit (kira2 2 thn lepas) akibat pneuomea setelah mengidap demam winter. Beliau memohon suntikan dan mendpt suntikan tsbt selepas dijelaskan history pneomea.
Tahun lepas, anak sulong saya d ayahnya serentak dihidapi swine flu. Sbnrnya, km sendiri tdk menyedari itu ialah swine flu krn hanya memikirkan demam winter biasa. Setelah beberapa hari, keadaan anak tdk kebah, kami cuba mndptkan rawatn doktor, tetapi hanya dibenarkan melalui 'on phone investigation' sahaja. Setelah 2 minggu, barulah keadaanya beransur pulih.
Amin.
